Mission Ridge 1, Chantilly, VA
Mission Ridge is a Class A office building complex in Chantilly, VA. It was recently leased and renovated for a high profile Government Agency. The space includes 160,000 sq ft of office space with below-grade parking. James G. Davis Company acted as the general contractor and W. E. Bowers was the mechanical contractor. There were many control challenges to renovate a 20 year old control system. Older control components were saved, reused, and integrated to a new Building Management System. Equipment was integrated to the system using a BACnet protocol. Fiber Optic cable was used for security to connect adjacent buildings. New computer system hardware and graphics were installed combining both old and new controls.
